Effective Monday, July 25, 2011, the NYSE will modify the Display Book parameter for Automatic Execution (NX) limit from 5,000,000 shares to 1,000,000 shares for Sprint Nextel Corporation (NYSE: S) due to both the share price being above $5.00 and an average daily volume on the NYSE below 10,000,000 shares.

The Display Book parameter for Automatic Execution (NX) limits is subject to modification from 1,000,000 shares to 5,000,000 shares for stocks priced below $5.00 with an average daily volume of 10,000,000 shares or more traded on the NYSE. Stocks will be evaluated on a quarterly basis for NX limitation adjustment.

Effective July 1, 2011, the NYSE and NYSE Amex amended Rule 1000 to set a different LRP value range for the first day of trading of an initial public offering.
