Update: NYSE Amex Trading of NASDAQ-Listed Securities

The NYSE Amex is currently trading 625 NASDAQ-listed securities under Unlisted Trading Privileges (UTP). Please see the below link for a complete list of the symbols and their trading floor locations, as of March 24, 2011.

Expanded Activity ID Notice

The NYSE had previously announced the introduction of a new Expanded Activity ID service within the Common Customer Gateway (CCG). This new service introduced optional FIX tags 9579 and 9704 to represent the new Expanded Activity ID in parallel with the current Activity ID returned in tags 17 and 19. Upon activation of the service, the Expanded Activity ID values would be placed in tags 17 and 19. In prior updates, the NYSE notified firms that they would eventually retire the current Activity ID values and only support the Expanded Activity ID values.

Short Sale Restriction Symbol List

Beginning today, March 7, 2011, NYSE/NYSE Amex will post a list of symbols for which the Short Sale Restriction was triggered during the trading day. The list, which will be posted overnight, will be available in Txt, Excel and XML format. Historical data will be made available as a Market Data product at nyxdata.com.
