Effective January 3, 2011, the NYSE and NYSE Amex have amended Rule 123C(9)(a)(1) to provide that if the Exchanges solicit interest after 4:00 p.m. to offset an extreme order imbalance at the close, member organizations can now enter interest electronically to Display Book or to a Floor broker in response to such a solicitation. Member organizations may continue to respond to Exchange solicitations by contacting their Floor brokers directly.

As an update to the earlier notice regarding the inclement weather in the New York City area, the NYSE, NYSE Amex, and NYSE Amex Options markets have confirmed staffing readiness and will proceed with normal trading hours today, Monday, December 27, 2010. Today's opening will occur at 9:30 a.m. ET as usual.

NYSE trading systems are fully functional at this time. Customers should confirm the staffing levels of their Floor Brokers before submitting orders to them.

We will continue to monitor weather and travel conditions and will issue further updates if conditions warrant.

Following the inclement weather in the New York City metropolitan area over night, the NYSE, NYSE Amex, and NYSE Amex Options exchanges have enacted business continuity measures to be available for trading during normal hours today, Monday, December 27, 2010. While we anticipate opening at 9:30 a.m. ET as usual, a final determination on today's opening time will follow as we evaluate weather and transportation conditions.
