NYSE Amex UTP Inverted Pricing and Other Rate Changes to Begin on September 1st, 2010

Effective September 1, 2010, pending SEC filing, NYSE, NYSE Amex, and NYSE Arca are making changes to the equities trading fee schedule. Highlights include:


  • NYSE Amex Tape C lower take fee for all customers to $0.0013 per share from $0.0021 per share in Nasdaq-Listed (Tape C) stocks priced above $1, including displayed and non-displayed orders. The client rebate for adding liquidity remains $0.0019 per share.
  • NYSE and NYSE Amex Closing Auction - Fees charged for MOC/LOC orders executed in the NYSE Closing Auction will change from $0.0007 to $0.00085 per share.
  • NYSE Arca Closing Auction - Fees charged for MOC/LOC orders executed in the NYSE Arca Closing Auction will change from $0.0007 to $0.0010 per share.
  • NYSE Arca Tier 1 - For NYSE Arca Tier 1 customers, the fee for taking liquidity in NYSE-Listed (Tape A) and Nasdaq-Listed (Tape C) securities will be $0.0030 per share. The fee for routing to non-NYSE venues in Tape A and Tape C securities will also be $0.0030 per share. The Tier 1 provide rebate remains unchanged at $0.0030 per share.

All other transaction fees remain unchanged.
