Trading in U.S. Bancorp Depositary Shares (NYSE: USB PRA) will resume on the NYSE on Friday, July 30, 2010.

Trading in USB PRA has been halted since June 18, 2010. As noted in the July 27, 2010 NYSE Trader Update, all NYSE trades executed on June 16, 17, and 18, 2010 have been canceled pursuant to NYSE Rule 128(g). This decision is not subject to appeal.

Effective Thursday, July 29, the NYSE will begin supporting the use of production test symbols through the Common Customer Gateways (CCGs) from the Mahwah Data Center.

Once testing is arranged though the NYSE’s Connectivity group, the CCGs in Mahwah will accept order flow in four test symbols during normal trading hours. Firms will be able to send day orders, cancels, cancel/replaces, cancel with leaves and receive Acks reports, Replaced and UROUT messages. These test symbols will not be supported for orders routed to BBSS, Arca or Matchpoint, nor will orders or reports be sent to CCG Drop Copies, SPAR Drop Copies, Post Trade/Comparison and after hours outputs.

USB PRA has been halted from trading since June 18, 2010, based on information indicating that the prices at which the shares were trading were not reasonably related to the market value of such shares and following information that the allocation of shares associated with an exchange offer for USB PRA had been adjusted. The NYSE has filed an immediately effective interpretation to Rule 128(g) with the Securities and Exchange Commission, which clarifies that an Officer of the Exchange may review the transactions such as those that occurred in USB PRA on June 16, 17, and 18, 2010, and declare them null and void.

Pursuant to that interpretation, the NYSE will nullify the trades on those dates prior to the re-opening of trading now scheduled for Friday, July 30, 2010.

USB PRA has been halted from trading since June 18, 2010. After extensive consultation with the related regulatory authorities, the trades executed on June 16, June 17, and June 18 will stand.

Trading in this security will re-open on Wednesday, July 28, 2010.

On August 9, 2010, the NYSE and NYSE Amex plan to begin migrating trading of equity symbols to their new US Liquidity Center in Mahwah, NJ. On that date, symbols will be moved to matching engines physically located in the new data center. These symbols will accept order flow from Common Customer Gateway (CCG) connections located in both the existing 55 Water Street and 2 Metrotech facilities as well as the new CCG connections in Mahwah. The migration will be phased in over a three week time frame with the following 19 symbols migrating on Monday, August 9th, 2010.

This is a reminder to register for Saturday’s industry testing at NYSE Euronext’s new Mahwah liquidity center. The test on Saturday July 24th is the second of three dates available for testing (additional testing will occur on July 31st). Mahwah CCG lines, Drop Copy lines, and market data multicast feeds will be available for the tests. For the July 24th test only, PDP products multicast feeds will be originating out of the 55 Water St. data center, using production IPs.

This Saturday, July 10, 2010 is the next scheduled opportunity for firms to test trading of NASDAQ equities on the NYSE Amex on an Unlisted Trading Privilege (UTP) basis.
