Increase in Maximum Order Quantity and Automatic Execution (NX) Quantity

23 Jun 2010

Effective Thursday, June 24, 2010, the NYSE and NYSE Amex will modify Common Customer Gateway (CCG) parameters to increase the allowable maximum order size up to 25,000,000 shares. This new limitation will be effective for all orders routed to the Display Book (DBK), Broker Booth Support Systems (BBSS) or directly to the eBroker Hand Held.

Additionally, DBK parameters will also be modified to increase the Automatic Execution (NX) limits to 5,000,000 shares for stocks priced below $5.00 with an average daily volume of 10,000,000 shares or more traded on the NYSE. Currently Sprint Nextel Corporation (ticker symbol: S) and Citigroup Inc.(ticker symbol: C) meet those criteria. Stocks will be evaluated on a quarterly basis for NX limitation adjustment with any updates published to NYSE Trader.
