NYSE CMS and CCG Routing Rules Reminder

30 May 2008

NYSE Member Firms routing orders via CMS or CCG for NYSE Arca primary securities, ETFs, and NYSE listed Subpenny halted securities will be routed directly to NYSE Arca. This routing rule will also apply to orders entered with NYSE booth “Agency” designations. Booth directed orders will only be accepted into NYSE BBSS for stocks actively trading at the NYSE.

Enhanced NYSE Business Continuity Plan retires Contingency Trading Floor

In an effort to provide firms with updated and expanded business recovery capabilities, NYSE Euronext will retire our Contingency Trading Floor and instead will request, that in the event of a BCP scenario, firms redirect their order flow to the NYSE Arca trading platform. All firms that are currently connected directly to NYSE Arca or have access through a current NYSE Arca ETP (Electronic Trading Permit) holder will continue to have access to the NYSE Arca platform.

FINRA/NYSE TRF reported market data revenue rebates now 100%

The NYSE is pleased to announce that it will now rebate 100% of all market data revenue shared with FINRA members reported via the FINRA/NYSE Trade Reporting Facility (TRF) in Tape A (New York Stock Exchange), Tape B (American Stock Exchange) and Tape C (NASDQ Exchange) securities.

"ADI" & "EXH" Selected for Delayed Opening Industry Test

Request for Registration by Monday, June 2, 2008

The NYSE plans to participate in an industry-wide test of Delayed Opening procedures under the auspices of SIFMA on Saturday, June 7. The purpose of the test is to assure that in the event of a planned, delayed opening, markets are able to open smoothly and efficiently. In addition to registration with SIFMA or any other market, registration directly with the NYSE is required for participation in this test as only registered firm lines will be started.

DOT Reserve Pilot extended to all NYSE Listed Securities Beginning 05/09/08

Beginning on Friday, May 9, 2008 the New York Stock Exchange will extend the DOT Reserve Order type from the current 100 pilot securities to all NYSE Listed Securities. Requiring a minimum posting of 100 shares and offering the ability to enter flexible replenishment amounts, the new DOT Reserve order will give clients additional flexibility in managing their NYSE systemic order flow and accessing the Exchange's unparalleled liquidity pool. The planned floor wide expansion will allow this useful order flow management tool to now be used for all NYSE Listed names.

Earlier CMS Availability Effective 05/05/08

Beginning Monday, May 5, the Common Message Switch (CMS) will open for NYSE order entry at 7:30 a.m. ET, 30 minutes earlier each trading day.

This additional pre-Opening access to NYSE trading systems has traditionally been available only on Expirations, and will now be extended to all trading sessions, allowing more time for customers to verify connectivity and prepare for the trading day.
